well it's like this people. having 2 4-year olds and a newborn and a job and a husband and a house and laundry and having to get everything done and get everywhere on time and feed the people living here is kicking my butt. the first week of teaching is draining all my energy. i forgot how much juice it takes to keep the energy level up all day. the night before last all three kids were up at various times then as soon as i got to sleep BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! alarm clock.

on top of all that, last year we got a new textbook and i wrote lesson plans for every day of the year. then my computer died and they don't think they're going to be able to get the documents off of it. so do you know what that means? yep, re-write and re-plan everything. it's a major bummer and time consumer. hours and hours of work flushed down the potty.

this week has been totally whirlwind crrrrrrrazy with the girls back to school and me back to work. (i'm a spanish teacher.) unfortunately on the list of priorities blogging has to be pushed to the bottom when everything else is calling.

i got issued a new laptop at work- woo hoo!!! i get to keep it year round so it's kinda like, mine, but it's not mine.

this weekend and monday i will be working on the contest, then tuesday or wednesday i will be announcing the winner. maybe i'll get to do a couple of posts depending on which children are screaming when.

please don't abandon me- i promise i'll be back ASAP!!!
