May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of the responsible party at Verizon. My DSL still isn't functional and this is getting a little ridicuous. Verizon is the only company that has DSL here in the middle of nowhere.
Now everyone will slowly stop checking my blog and it will die a slow painful death. I'm depressed.
My new job rocks though.

Wow, blogger.com is still here?! Hi to all youse guys who all still clicking back here every now and then to see if I'm alive. I have to take a Technology course to fulfill my recertification requirements so now in addition to work, I am also in class every Wednesday from 4-6 through November. Hopefully I will learn how to use a computer. BWAH HA HA (Don't get mad Faith if you're reading this I know you have to do it) So far I have learned how to save files in Word, get on the internet, and format disks. eeeeeek.I have had no computer at my new house because Verizon won't hook it up til the 22nd. I can't use my school-assigned laptop for blogging there because, you know, they spy on you and stuff.I promise as soon as my DSL is connected I will be back full force. I won't blame you all if you abandon me. ::emotional sniff:: Honestly, I feel like I have been separated from my family. If you're reading this, leave me a message with the latest update on you since I don't have time to go to my blogroll but maybe I will have a sec to read the comments. Also, if you have my phone number you could call me. AHEM ::cough:: Christi. If you don't have my cell phone just my home phone my new number is the same area code and prefix but the last numbers are now six oh eight seven, ok?
Love love love and kisses and missyas.k8Here's an old monkey picture for those of you having cuteness withdrawal. They're still doing basically the same thing, just in an upright position. Look at those piggy noses!

Don't you hate it when people end a sentence with a preposition?
Dude. Things are loco here. With starting the new j-o-b and moving at the same time I barely have time to do anything else. The biggest bummer of all though, is that Veriz*n screwed up my DSL order and instead of being connected on September 5th, it won't be turned on until the 22ND. Kaplooey.
You may think it's easy just moving across the street and all, but we're talking about a major excavation here. We have thrown away three dumpsters full of stuff so far and in most rooms you can hardly tell we've touched anything. Then there's all the crud in my house that has to be sorted through as well. Plus the house hasn't been remodelled or painted since like 1960-something so there's that too.
The Spanish teaching is going great. 99.9% of the kids are normal. More on that later.
I thought I would show some pictures to give you an idea of before and after in the two rooms that are almost done- the living room and the playroom, which used to be just a sunporch. Yes! No more toys (well, almost none) in the living room. Click to bigify pics.
The ceilings in the house are really cool handmade wood tiles. Check it out.Yes, you thought you could get rid of me, but I'm still here. Bwah ha ha. And the monkeys looove their new "pwaywoom."
I miss you! And your little blog too.

Hey dudes. Right now I have technically moved into my new house across the street but really just the basics. For the next two days I will be trudging back and forth bringing all the crud over. The DSL won't be connected there until next week so I'm keeping the computer here as long as possible. I'll be showing ya some before and after pics soon!xok8
