Since I moved in my Grandmom's house I have found alot of random stuff jammed here and there by my Grandmom. There are still tons of drawers to be gone through. The woman kept everything. We found napkins from their honeymoon from each restaurant where they ate, detailing on the back what they ate and how much it was. Also material from each hotel and sight with notes. You get the idea. It's very time consuming. Anyway tonite I was trying to tidy up my bedroom for turkey day by jamming all my summer clothes in big clear leaf bags to be stored, I found my Granddad's Secret Masonic Hat - you know like on Fred Flintstone and the Royal Order of the Water Buffalo?


Of course I made Scott try on the lovely fez.

"um, nobody."

I was so mad after my dr's appt got cancelled ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT WHILE I WAS DRIVING THERE BC THE DR WAS ON VACATION!!!!???? that I didn't feel like doing anything all weekend. I was infuriated. Then they tried to tell k8 they couldn't give her an appt til NOVEMBER 28?? That's when k8 had to get pregnantladycrrrrr-azy on the phone.

So, I had my appointment Wednesday and yes people, it's JUST ONE thank you Jesus! Everything appears to be fine and I go back in 2 weeks bc I saw the NP and they like to have a doctor do the final measuring to predict the age, etc. Plus where I had complications last time I will get to have more ultrasounds than usual. Yay. We saw the little arms moving and legs kicking, heard the heartbeat etc. Scott was a proud teary eyed daddy when he heard the heartbeat.

I would show you the pics but it just looks like the typical bloblike early ultrasound.

Anyway did you know next week is Thanksgiving? And did you know that everyone is coming to my house? And did you also know that my house looks like complete and total crapola- piles of junk everywhere- where will I stash it all??? When will I have time? I'm serious- I have Christmas stuff in my dining room from last year that never got put into storage. There's also Easter and random craft stuff jammed around.

I'm thinking of renting a big Uhaul to load everything into so my house looks so clean and airy and organized. Then I'll hide it behind the house so noone can see it. No, then I'll have to unload it afterwards.

AMAZON.COM has ticked me off royally. on november 1 I ordered 2 carseats for scott's/ our new vehicle- (i didnt tell you that last week on his own he decided he should trade in his 5 month old jeep wrangler for a family vehicle and he ended up getting a dark green jeep liberty) technically it's mainly his but i get to drive it sometimes too- like nights weekends, etc.

i did research on carseats bc we're going to have to have 3 in the back and i needed to find out what the safest narrowest front facing ones were so the infant one can squeeze in the middle. Amazon.com had them cheapest. they said they were in stock and available to be shipped immediately.

when i checked my bank account last night i noticed they hadnt even been charged yet. so i checked my account on amazon and the estimated delivery date is NOVEMBER 17???!!!!!! what the bleep dude??? and to top it off THE ORDER CANNOT BE CANCELLED.

turns out that when you qualify for and choose free shipping they put you behind everybody who wanted to pay for shipping. who would want to pay for the shipping on 2 heavy carseats? come on people. they don't tell you that choosing free shipping will delay your order when you place the order.

November 10th people- that's the magic date.

And why is it that everyone who finds out I'm pregnant says "Is it two???" or "How many is it?" Even when I called the doctor's office to make the appointment after I told em my name and the reason I need an appointment the lady (who I don't even know btw) said "Oh! Twins again?!"

Hardy freakin har har woman.

I can't wait to see the heartbeat (singular) and know fer sure that everything is okey dokey.

On to other things...poor poor Scott. The girls give him SUCH a rough time. I know they're jealous of him and we have done everything possible to make them understand they are still loved, they will never lose their mommy, etc. etc. But still they continue. They love him sometimes (rare) tolerate him most of the time and when they want something they call him Daddy. When they are mad at him or he doesn't do things their way they call him Scott. Or they say stuff like "NO I don't want you to carry me I want my mommy to carry me." Thank God he is such a calm tolerant man. Does anyone else have experience with stuff like this? How long does it take for kids to accept a new guy? He really loves them and I feel so horrible when they are mean to him.

Not as sick these days but off and on. The worst is on the way to work every morning I have to drive by this chicken plant and the smell is just soooooooooo gross. I dunno if anyone has ever had the experience to smell this unique odor but it's like rotten guts and dog food mixed together. yummers.
